1)Art: Fanart created by our members. Drawings, Computer generated, and assorted other pieces of art.
•Snarry: Art work of Harry Potter and Severus Snape together.
•Harry Potter: Art work of Harry Potter alone/ without Severus Snape
•Severus Snape: Art work of Severus Snape alone/ without Harry.
•Comics: These are on-going pieces of Snarry art that tell a story (who doesn't know what a comic is?).
•Other: Art work without Harry Potter or Severus Snape. Since this is a Snarry webpage, not all art will be accepted here, but a few exceptions can be made.
The bullets are sub categories.

2)Fanfiction: These are stories written by our members about the characters Harry Potter and Severus Snape, from J. K. Rowling's popular series "Harry Potter".

3)Poetry: Poetry written by fans about Harry Potter and Severus Snape. Not to be confused with fanfic written with poetry by others, or fanfic referencing poetry.

4)Drabble: Short stories written by fans using characters from J.K. Rowling's popular series "Harry Potter"
Basically bits of writing to short to be called fanfiction.

•Action/Adventure: Fanfic with fast moving plots that are in depth and exciting.
•Angst: Fanfic that involves a lot of emotional turmoil.
•AU: Alternate Universe. Fanfic that places our characters in a different setting. Sometimes it is very different, like "Harry lives on the moon", but most often it is something that is changed from the world presented in canon (i.e. the books), like "what if Harry wasn’t The-Boy-Who-Lived?" or "Severus was really working for Voldemort the whole time" (although some people will argue that’s not AU after HBP…).
•Crossover: Fanfic that place the characters from one fandom in a setting of another. In this case Snape and/or Harry visit or are visited by another fandom.
•Drama: Fanfic that has intense situations and interesting conflicts.
•General: Fanfic that is not unusual in any way/ have no defining plot devices mentioned here.
•Hurt/Comfort: Fanfic in which one of the main characters is hurting (most often emotionally) and is comforted by another. Generally the one who is hurting and the one who is comforting are in/develop a relationship.
•Horror: Fanfic that are dark and often scary.
•Humour: Fanfic that is funny.
•Mpreg: Male pregnancy. Fanfic in which a male character becomes pregnant.
•Mystery/Suspense: Fanfic in which the plot is to solve an unknown and/or a fanfic that keeps you guessing as to what will happen next.
•Parody: Fanfic that is written using the style and/or situation (other then J.K. Rowling) to imitate in a humorous way.
•Poetry: Fanfic which is based on or references a poem (or many poems).
•PWP: Short for Point, What Point? or Plot, What Plot? Basically, if there is any plot it's sketchy to say the least, the majority of the story will be about sex.
•Romance: Fanfics depicting the characters in a soft loving relationship. Wooing is generally involved.
•Song Fic: Fanfic which is based on, or references song lyrics.
•Tragedy: Fanfic with an unhappy ending.
If there are any genres that are missing that you feel should be here, please
let me know
